North Dakota musicians and instrument makers from the Fargo/Moorhead Spelemannslag honored the 200th anniversary of Norwegian immigration to America with a special performance and presentation of a commemorative Hardanger fiddle in Oslo.

NDCA has awarded two Artist Growth and Development grants, each in the amount of $5,000, to Sarah Beck (left) of Fargo and Callie Stadem (right) of Grand Forks. 

This JUNE 2025 edition highlights NDCA's NOW OPEN Artist in Residence program with a story about a mural created at Thompson Public school, celebrates NDCA's recent visit to Region 3, showcases a new exhibit on the 18th floor of the Capitol, and much more!

About 25 students and their teaching artist in residence at Thompson Public School work together to build a sense of affirmation and positivity with a 53-foot, all-encompassing artwork infused with words of encouragement.
