Kiera Fox is an enrolled member of the MHA Nation, with lineage connected to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, Southern Cheyenne Tribe, and the Fort Belknap Indian Community (Nakota). She grew up on the Turtle Mountain Reservation and through her upbringing, lived across various states throughout the country. She earned her AFA in Studio Arts (2020) and BFA in Indigenous Liberal Studies (2021) from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

An interdisciplinary artist, Kiera comes from a family of artists and was encouraged from a young age to pursue her creative path. She works in powwow regalia, beadwork, graphic design, and painting, and enjoys incorporating materials such as dentalium shells, horsehair, and beadwork - often working in whatever medium she feels inspired to explore.

Professionally, Kiera has worked across education, arts, Tourism, and cultural sectors, with roles at the Institute of American Indian Arts, MHA Nation Tourism, and North Dakota Indian Affairs. She is also actively involved in leadership as a board member for both the Plains Art Museum and the North Dakota Native Tourism Alliance, where she assists promoting responsible Tribal Tourism through community engagement, education, and cultural awareness. Joining North Dakota Council on the Arts in April 2026, she enjoys serving and supporting the arts community across North Dakota.
