The 2023 North Dakota State Poetry Out Loud Competition will be held on Monday, February 27th at the ND Heritage Center and State Museum, in the Russell Reid Auditorium.

Please join us for an Accessibility in the Arts Convening webinar on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The main topic will be how to make ND's art organizations more accessible to artists and the general public. The event will include local and national speakers, with a Q&A session at the end. *Free and open to the public.

Picturing Writing: Fostering Literacy Through Art® is an innovative approach to teaching writing and fostering literacy designed to meet the needs of a wide range of learners. Developed by Beth Olshansky, this evidence-based model uses quality picture books and simple, captivating art techniques to teach the art of writing. This August, Central Regional Education Association (CREA) and NDCA are teaming up to provide ND teachers with TWO Virtual Picturing Writing workshops.
